  I do my elderly Mum's banking at the CBA Camberwell branch and I have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I am surprised by the other poor reviews.

  Horrible service from the acting branch manager. She would rather not speak to customers so just gave me one option to use netbank with extremely vague instructions. Error occurred in transaction and she blamed me for not “yelling out if I needed help”. She even had the cheek to say I didn’t want to hear other options and implied I wouldn’t want to pay the $30 transfer fee! Horrible! She wiped her hands off clean and didn’t want to help me and gave me some hotline number which was of no help. Couldn’t believe she treated customers this way!

  Worst branch I've been to, didn't want to help, just wanted to delay helping. Tried to tell me that both directors of a company are needed at the exact same location at the exact same time to setup a transaction account.

  Friendly staff and very supportive I opened an account online and came to activate it
  It took around 10 minutes to settle everything

  There's always plenty of staff here but they don't seem to do anything. Want to start a joint account? They say 10 minute wait expected, only to let you know 40 minutes later that they forgot to put your name on the digital queue - only to do the same thing shortly after. Need a new card? They send it attached to the wrong account. Try to get that fixed? They put the wrong name on the card. 3. Times. Go to update insurance details "sorry can't help with that, call this number instead." Curiously, they could sell me the product but nothing else. I begrudgingly bestow this one star only because Google won't let me rate lower. I suppose they can have the 1 star as they have ATMs - oops, even they weren't going on one of my visits.
