  We found Duncan Thompson very easy to work with. From the initial meeting to discuss the brief, through to quotes and the planning stage, they listened to us and provided counsel. The building team were very helpful, friendly and hard working.
  
  The renovation cost what they quoted and took as long as they said it would take.
  
  We love our new house, it works so much better than the old one.
  
  I'd recommend Duncan Thompson without hesitation.

  We chose Duncan Thompson out of five potential builders because we felt they listened to us and fully understood what we wanted to achieve. Jim was excellent as we worked through our design and accommodated our design changes with a smile and a "no problem" attitude. Once the build commenced Sam, our supervisor, was every bit as helpful. There were a few changes (brought on by us) through the build and they were accommodated seamlessly. We are delighted with the end result and it's hard to describe the calming feeling of walking in through the front door of our wonderful house at the end of a long day. I am happy to recommend DT to anybody looking for a classy, appropriate extension to their period home (ours was a 1929 Californian Bungalow). Thanks guys for a great job and for a house we will be happy to call home for many years.
