  Dr Dhillion, what can I say.... I am so happy with the result of removing my varicose vein , my legs look great again!!!. No pain, very comfortable and I would highly recommend you to all of my family and friends.

  Prior to this treatment I did quite some research into what I should be able to expect as a result from the EVLT. While I was majorly concerned with the large veins I was also wanting the treatment to fix the spider veins I had on my lower legs. So before signing up for treatment at this clinic I was sure to ask if they would address both the large and spider veins, to which I was of course told yes.
  However, as a result of choosing this doctor, I have endured many months of very painful treatment and extremely poor bedside manner, to end up with an extremely disappointing result. While the larger veins have gone I have ended up with scars and many more spider veins than when I started.
  My first concern (and should have been a major red flag to Mel!) was the lack of professional notes he seemed to be keeping regarding my examinations with anotomical drawings that looked like a 4yo had drawn them in kindergarten. On several occasions I had to remind the doctor which leg he was treating as he kept forgetting which leg he had worked on. He then joked that he had written the wrong leg on the notes! Hilarious!
  Some visits the doctor would use little if any anaesthetic before repeatedly stabbing my legs deeply with a needle and squeezing the blood out of veins. This felt like more of a back yard type treatment I could have done to myself! When I advised of the agony I was in, he made a insensitive joke of it and then left the room leaving me to fit my own compression tights with no assistance.
  On my last visit the doctor AGAIN started examining the wrong leg until I advised him YET AGAIN it was the other leg he had treated. I then questioned him as to when the large amount of spider veins would be treated, to which he advised that he had never said that these would be treated! When I ensured that I had certainly been told they would and questioned if there was an independent authority that I could speak to about my treatments he said "oh you want to go that way do you?" walked out of the room into his office and shut the door, leaving the receptionist to try to explain things to me.
  This whole experience has been a total painful waste of time and a huge expense (over $4000) only to line the pockets of an unprofessional doctor that has inadequate communication skills, horrible bedside manner, speaks rudely to his staff, skimps out on giving you the required amount of anaesthetic to make the procedures painless (as they advertise) I am now in the expensive process of getting second opinions from other clinics, who at first glance at my legs, do not think I have ever had any treatment on my legs at all! I may not be able to do anything to recoup the wasted time or money but I want to make sure I tell anyone and everyone who will listen an honest opinion of what this experience was like. Unlike the other two reviews that sound like they were written by staff members.
  Please note I am a 44yo woman that can normally handle a bit of pain, please be careful if you are elderly or weak, I think you may find this clinic's treatment a little barbaric to handle.
  DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR for any kind of treatment EVER! if I could give 0 stars I would!
  You should be ashamed with yourselves Melbourne vein care. Oh and the surgery looks nothing like the picture.

  I first saw Dr Dhillon in 2008 to address my large, unsightly varicose veins and spider veins. I did extensive research prior into EVLT and Sclerotherapy, and understood the procedure could be a year long commitment, which it was. 9 years later I could not be happier with the results as my varicose vein has never returned. Nonetheless, veins are heredity in my family and Dr Dhillon described my spider veins as like 'weeding the garden', meaning they most likely would require maintenance as the years progressed. So this year, I returned to Vein Care to address new spider veins, and have experienced the same professional and caring treatment. I could not be happier and highly recommend the clinic. Dr Dhillon is a perfectionist and a leader in his field. I recommended my father and he too has had amazing results for hideous varicose veins. Trust the process and you will not be disappointed.

  My husband ,who is a GP recommended Dr Dhillon 10 years ago to address my large varicose veins and spider veins that had formed following my second pregnancy.
  
  While those varicose veins had never returned unfortunately varicose veins are hereditary in my family and a new unsightly vein appeared which was not only impacting on my choice of clothing attire but was also uncomfortable and painful. I had no hesitation in returning to Dr Dhillon for the procedure in July this year. EVLT was performed to remove the bulging vein which extended from my thigh area to below the knee. Throughout, the procedure Dr Dhillon checked in on my comfort level and I must say I felt no pain or discomfort. I am very happy with the result and am continuing with sclerotherapy to remove the spider veins. Highly recommend the clinic

  Just had EVLT for leg veins a couple of days ago and so far very happy with the treatment I have received from the Doctors and receptionist.
